Plain and simple, neither the church nor the gospel would move forth without the work of volunteers and those who are willing to say yes. Volunteering takes a thousand forms and here it is no different. The church always needs people who are willing to say yes inside and outside of their comfort zones.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

It all begins with meeting our staff or reaching out to our office. Different people have been given different gifts by the Lord and we want you to be able to use the gift God has given. Kid's ministry is not for everyone but then neither is greeting and we need you to cover every part of this campus. 

How do I volunteer with kids?

Volunteering with any minors on campus begins with a background check and a meeting with our Kids' Pastor: Emily. It takes a lot of patience, energy, and love to serve in New Hope Kids but it is one of the most fulfilling places to be on campus. 

How do I volunteer with music?

Just as all musical positions begin, working with the worship band begins with an audition. Our team meets every week to practice at least twice before Sunday service. If you are looking for a place on the worship team we start with the choir because it allows anyone to get used to the stage. 

How do I volunteer with students?

Just like any job with a high school, volunteering with students begins with a background check and a meeting with our Youth Pastor: Jac. Youth meets every Wednesday upstairs and it is not for the faint of heart. Youth is loud, a bit frantic, passionate and requires a year long commitment.
