Core Values
Our core values drive the heart of the church as a whole and lay a path for every individual of any age to grow in their relationship with God and others.
Healthy followers of Christ develop regular habits that help them to be Just. Like. Him.

Growing In Christ
We teach how to read the Bible and pray the same way we eat: daily. We come together as a family and support each other with Wednesday night connection. We baptize in water the same way Jesus was and we pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit just as the disciple were baptized.
Relating to One Another
We seek to build life-giving authentic friendships, families, and communities that glorify God. New Hope gathers together in our membership to the body, small groups, and volunteering here on campus and in the city of Muskogee.
Outreach to Our World
We actively seek to draw people to God by reaching our city and our world through simple acts of kindness. Jesus said that "we will be known as His disciples by the way we love one another." We seek to show grace to every individual through relational evangelism, draw in the community by serving locally, and reach the globe by supporting missionaries here and abroad.
Worship
Worship is more than simply coming together to praise God on Sundays; it's a lifestyle of the fruit of the spirit and how we interact with God in our daily lives. Sunday Services, small groups, and generosity are just a few of the ways that we worship the Lord.
God
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
Jesus is Coming Back
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
The Assemblies of God
What does our fellowship believe?
At just over 100 years old, the Assemblies of God is the largest and fastest growing group of Pentecostals in the world. Beginning with the Azuza Street Revival and William Seymour in 1906 to now a global fellowship of churches, schools, missionaries, writers, Universities, teachers, and so many more, the AG has used the last century to tell the world about the saving knowledge of Jesus.
In short, the Assemblies of God is a global, organized collective of ministries that believes everything that was active for the apostles is still active today. Jesus still saves, the Holy Spirit still fills, and the Father still loves every single person on this planet. Our core doctrines can be found in our 16 Fundamental Truths ranging from the One True God to our Blessed Hope right here.
